Class A Drug Solicitor

Possession

Possession of a Class A drug occurs when somebody has a controlled substance in their physical possession such as having it in their pocket. This is usually a small amount and not enough to raise suspicion of any dealing.

The penalty for the possession of a Class A drug is up to seven years imprisonment or an unlimited fine, or both.

Possession With Intent to Supply

Possession with intent supply is also known as dealing. This offence occurs when someone is in physical possession of a controlled substance but it is believed that the amount they have on them is more than what can be described as personal use.

The penalty for the possession with intent supply Class A drug is up to life imprisonment or an unlimited fine, or both.

Manufacture / Production of Class A Drugs

The manufacture or production of a controlled substance is taken very seriously in the eyes of the criminal law. A production charge may come about even if you were not involved directly with the process of manufacturing the class A drug. An example of this being to allow your property to be used for this offence.

The penalty for producing Class A drugs is up to life imprisonment or an unlimited fine, or both.

Conspiracy to Import Class A Drugs

Also known as drug trafficking and along with these charges may come others such as conspiracy to import drugs or to supply drugs. Usually these cases involve a large quantity of drugs and are seen to be essential part to the drug trade and for that reason are seen as the most serious when it comes to offences involving Class A drugs.

The penalty for importing / exporting Class A drugs is up to life imprisonment or an unlimited fine, or both.
